Leroy Sane to Bayern updates and Bundesliga resumes!

Leroy  Sanè To Bayern Munich Updates and Bundesliga returns with the Revierderby!

In the Leroy Sanè saga, two new reports (Evening Standard and Telegraph) indicate that Leroy Sanè is on his way to Bayern Munchën.

Bayern expressed their interest in Sanè last summer and were ready with a big bid for the winger, but he suffered a long-term injury, which has kept him off the pitch this season, so no progress was made.

Bayern has publicly shown interest in Leroy and plans to bid when the window reopens.

Only a single year will be left on Sanè's contract come June, but City are not willing to let him leave for a cheap price of 35 million euros which Bayern are planning to bid, reportedly.

Reports add that City are willing to let him leave for free rather than at a cut price and only IF the player states his desire to leave the Manchester outfit.

We can only wait to see what happens next in this long saga and whether Sanè is a Mancunian or Bavarian come next season.

Dortmund take on Schalke in the Revierderby as Bundesliga resumes from today.

Elsewhere, Bundesliga resumes from today (7pm IST) after the long halt to world football due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

This is the first time since March that fans will be treated to live European Football action.

There are strict rules in place for officials and players to follow during the game to keep everyone safe.

Every individual, except the players and officials on-field, will have to wear masks.

Clubs have to arrange for multiple buses so as to follow social distancing norms which requires each person to sit at least 1.5 metres away from another person.

The football will be disinfected when play begins and the coaches are allowed to lower their masks to give instructions to the players.

The substitutes and staff members are required to sit at least one bench apart and to sit in the stands if the dugout cannot accommodate them.

Jadon Sancho and Borussia Dortmund take on Saut Serdar and Schalke 04 while RB Leipzing take on SC Freiburg in one of the many matches set to take place on 16th and 17th of May.
